The inspiration for this chair lies in the first two leaves a plant produces when it germinates. The embryo inside the seed produces two cotyledons, the two primitive leaves.

As it grows, the new leaves take on different shapes: heart-shaped, ribbon-like, with serrated edges, or simple.

This chair gives the impression of being anchored to the earth and emerging from it like a fresh spring sprout.

You can sit comfortably and relaxed on its first leaf; its enveloping shape adapts to the curves of the human body.

The second leaf supports your back with lumbar support. It is suitable for contemplating on a terrace or in the garden, reading a book, chatting, or enjoying a drink; even if it rains, it will quickly dry out due to its organic shapes.

The sketch went to a clay model to a 3D model, which was later used to generate slices cut from plywood and put them together like a puzzle to make a wooden prototype, which was also used to make it from fiberglass.
