Sopiva is a Finnish word meaning suitable, and that’s exactly what this wall shelf is. With its clean, minimalist design, it easily adapts to a variety of spaces and purposes. One of the key design goals was to make wall mounting as easy as possible for the customer, while keeping the structure discreet. The metal frame is attached to the wall first, and then the shelf boards are placed on top, hiding the mounting screws behind them.

The Sopiva shelf is part of the Tapio Anttila Collection. Its shelf boards are made from surplus veneer parts left over from the production of the brand’s popular sofa beds. Thais means the shelf has a near-zero carbon footprint.
