Elegant and multi-functional, the Luminosa Screen is comprised of a custom Italian Rubelli LED fabric inside a metal frame which rests within stone foot supports that can be positioned as needed along the base to accommodate unique installation sites.
It provides privacy, concealment and decoration by day, and with a flip of a switch by night, transforms the ambiance casting a warm glow through the textured fabric.
Originally designed as a radiant heating cover during Milan Design Week, it can also be used as a fireplace screen during summer months or made taller into a one, three or four-panel room divider.
Integrating new LED technology through thin strands of woven LED fabric is a revolutionary concept in itself – creating a captivating design through an intricate handwoven process is an entirely different level of complexity.
As designer Lauren Rottet says, “This product is a joyful expression of Old World elegance merged with 21st-century LED technology – acknowledging history and the warmth it brings up, while looking ahead.”
It measures W 127cm x D 20cm x H 86cm (W 50” x D 7.75” x H 34″) or custom.
