Droop is a lighting collection that captures the essence of Italian design—its passion, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance—reimagined through a contemporary lens. Inspired by a love of all things Italian, from its artistic heritage to its culture of making, Droop is a tribute to the beauty of contrast: tradition and innovation, structure and softness, light and material.
At the heart of the collection is the interplay between rigid geometric frames and the organic fluidity of handblown Murano glass. Each piece begins with a precise architectural structure—clean lines, balanced proportions, and deliberate order. In contrast, molten glass is allowed to droop and stretch in response to gravity and heat. The result is a unique moment captured in form—an expression of tension and release, control and spontaneity. No two pieces are exactly alike.
This dialogue between form and fluidity defines Droop’s identity: a sculptural tension that feels both bold and poetic, balancing minimalist restraint with expressive craftsmanship.
Every piece is made in collaboration with local artisans, preserving traditional techniques while exploring new directions. Authentic Murano glass—renowned for its clarity, color, and quality—is central to the collection. Each element is handblown using centuries-old methods, giving every light a sense of history and human touch.
Though deeply rooted in tradition, Droop feels unmistakably fresh. The aesthetic is modern and refined, yet warm and tactile. Material and form speak for themselves. The collection is versatile—equally at home in residential and commercial interiors, whether as a quiet accent or dramatic centerpiece.
Droop is more than a lighting line; it’s a study in contrasts and craftsmanship. It brings together Italian heritage and modern expression in a way that feels authentic, emotive, and original. Each piece invites you to pause, look closer, and appreciate the beauty of the handmade—imperfections, irregularities, and all.
In a world that moves quickly and favors the mass-produced, Droop offers something different: objects made slowly, intentionally, and with care. These are lights with soul—designed not just to illuminate spaces, but to elevate them.
